Travelogue

Last week we took a much needed break and headed out via car for Los Angeles. The weather was perfect in southern Ca. We stayed in Santa Monica for a couple of days near the beach. We took a stroll down to the Santa Monica Pier early one morning.

The fishermen were out in force and there was even a yoga class happening right on the pier.

Friday night we headed out to the ballpark to watch the Dodgers get their butt kicked by the Atlanta Braves. The game went into overtime, which was painful.


Look how packed the stadium was! The crowds were fun, the Dodgers sure do have fabulous fans!
There were quite a few celebrities in the house that evening, Jermain Jackson, Josh Duhamel, Jon Lovitz and the repro man Luis Pizzaro.

After the game there was a really night fireworks display, it made that wait for the game to end worth it!
Saturday we headed down for Long Beach and stopped at Jesse James' West Coast Choppers. Check out the eye candy!








Then we headed over to Venice beach to do some people watching. It was really crowded and there were all sorts of people parading about.

There was even a sideshow attraction. Sadly I didn't see one person in vintage swimwear. This gal would of looked good in a vintage swimsuit, don't cha think?


It's good to be home again!
