Designer Ruth Ziller is the genius behind these wonderful suits made for the Billy & Lola brand.
What's even more tempting to me is that Ruth made all of these from vintage sheets that she found at second hand stores in Australia. How brilliant is that?
So, not only are the eco friendly, they have a fabulous retro vibe going on and are made of cotton or cotton blend fabrics, er sheets!
Ruth has designed seven different cuts for the collection ranging from two piece bikini styles to vintage styled one piece 'bathers'. These are exclusively sold in Melbourne, sadly, and I can't find a link for them on line either. However, for those of you who live in Melbourne, you can find Billy & Lola exclusively at Fannyz Jaakan on Chapel Street
But perhaps if you're a sewing crafter you could get a pattern from glamoursurf, raid your linen closet and make your own up-cycled vintage swimsuit.

We Aussies do make great swimwear. But what I pity I love in Sydney and not Melbourne, as I want one!
Louise, aren't they great, but you are far closer than me!
Great to see you like the label too!
I guess you first heard about them from my site StyleMelbourne.com since the images are from there?
