 Santa Cruz circa 1941. Long boards and long days were welcomed by the Santa Cruz Surfing Club. 

 Again Santa Cruz at the Beach Boardwalk. This one does not have a date, but look, almost everyone is fully dressed. My best guess in early 1900s.

Beach thongs greet new buildings and paved boardwalk, season 1954.

Fabulous right. One of these days I'll head over to Santa Cruz and try and take a current image of these scenes so we can compare and contrast the difference. What fun!
